About John Kelso
Originally from County Down in Northern Ireland, John's work evokes scenes forged from the landscapes and people of his youth. He combines modern scenes with a memory of a childhood spent in the Mourne mountains in the 1940s and 1950s and he brings this vivid memory of rural Ireland to his landscapes and portraits.
